Ion-implanted

WebIon implantation was performed on single-crystal CVD diamonds produced by ElementSix. The samples have 100 crystal orientation, size 3×3×0.5 mm3 and are classified as type IIa, with two optically polished opposite large faces. Four samples were implanted with 180 keV B ions, at the Olivetti I-Jet facilities in Arnad (Aosta, Italy). Web7 apr. 2024 · In this paper we describe the method and apply it to the analysis of low-energy carbon ion tracks implanted in a nuclear emulsion film. The result is then compared with the measurements of the same tracks carried out at an electronic microscope. The images set side by side show their close similarity.
