WebIf your using copies then some dvds wont read them even if the old one did, sometimes its a gamble if it reads or not, if your using a master then i would have them check it out, it may be bad or need programing, it funny because sometimes it will play a copy and sometimes not, thats what i've run into. hope this helps. WebMay 30, 2024 · Assuming the error occurs with more than one known-good DVDs, and it doesn't always occur at the same spot on the DVDs, and they aren't burned DVDs (which may work, but no guarantees) then I think you can safely say you have a marginal or faulty DVD player. Tell the dealership.

WebJun 26, 2024 · The Nav disc is likely a data DVD or CD. There are some specific procedures for operating the head unit in order to load, reload, or update the Nav software disc. You should have a separate Nav manual. If not followed correctly, the process will fail. WebJun 1, 2012 · The ribbon cable can be disconnect from the DVD drive - carefully release the ribbon cable grip (tiny brown sliver of plastic) and pull out the cable. Re-assembly is the reverse process. Just be careful pressing the grip back into place and make sure the cable is square into the socket.
